So I'm looking through Craig's list for a good, cheap wine cooler/cellar, when I spot the following ad:
Cuban Restaurant for Sale - $279000
This is a very attractive Cuban restaurant with many newspaper and other reviews. It has appeared on at least one of the Washingtonian Magazine Best Of lists. The atmosphere is casual, colorful and pleasant. The restaurant is located on a very heavily traveled road. It draws customers from Rockville, Bethesda and Gaithersburg as well as other areas. It has a reputation for the authenticity and quality of the food. It has received various awards and recognition. This is a profitable, successful restaurant with a very good reputation. It has a beer and wine license. Now it is open Monday through Saturday. At times in the past the restaurant has been open on Sunday, and that additional weekend time open brought with it a significant increase in sales.
Any thoughts on this place that I have always wanted to try, but never got around to? Should I hurry while I still can? [In any case, $279,000 is more than I wanted to spend on a wine cooler--I was thinking more like $60.]
