Best croissant in LA?

i'm looking for croissants like the perfect ones at Fauchon in NY... with an extremely high real butter content that almost warrants the $4.50 price. the LaBrea Bakery ones are ok if heated in the oven to crisp them a bit, and Maison du Pain's are interesting--with a bit of sweetness to the outer layer...but nothing like Fauchon. Any ideas?
