I'm coming into the city on the 29th, and I know it's going to be super crazy. Would restaurants anywhere be more crowded than usual? I'm staying in the East Village, but will be all over Manhattan. Any suggestions for BPC/Lower Manhattan would be good, too.
I was there during Irene, and I kind of missed some places I wanted to eat at, but I have my list of casual places to eat at down pat. I'm looking for places to sit down and have a nice dinner, somewhere to look forward to going to eat at night.
I like all types of food, surprise me. Not really set on a certain style. Looking for some places not casual but not super fancy either. Somewhere I can eat by myself.
If there is a super busy place you think I would like, don't be afraid to mention it. I don't mind crowds, but I know everywhere will be packed because of the week it is.
