So I found myself on Main Street in Annapolis this past week, searching in vain for any crab places even remotely divey.
I walked and walked, asked around, and kept getting directed to Buddy's.
It had the hammers, the brown paper and all that, but it felt like a theme park and the crabs were WAY more expensive than I had even ever imagined: $45 for a dozen medium crabs.
I know, I know, I got fleeced.
I feel ashamed but I've put it behind me.
My question is where to go next time.
Think dark, few kids, locals, no crayons, a little smoky, maybe a patio/deck on the water. Thanks!
