I went there tonight (not my choice) with a group of 10. First off, the service was pretty bad. One of the women I was dining with ordered a glass of water with no ice. She received no water, with or without ice, even after reminding the server twice. Finally, I went up to the bar and made them pour me a glass of water with no ice while I stood there, which I thought was pretty ridiculous. Other than that incident (and waiting forever after asking for the check) the service was pretty uneventful but certainly not very good.
For my meal I ordered the "chicken diablo" which was described as: 'chicken tenders sauteed with sherry, butter, sweet and hot peppers, heirloom beans, bacon, onions and pico de gallo (spicy)'. This description could not be further from the truth. What I got was underdone, rather bland chicken with overcooked, slightly mushy bell peppers and onions. I don't know how to describe the rice except to say that it was pretty flavorless and tasted like it was instant rice. There was no bacon or pico de gallo to speak of.
Another diner ordered the vegetarian enchiladas and commented that her enchilada sauce tased like Prego pasta sauce (yuck).
Originally I had wanted to try one of the appetizers but I'm glad I didn't waste my money. The total cost for my meal before the mandatory gratituity was 19 dollars including a 2$ sprite. Overall, this place is completely and utterly not worth it IMHO.
If you do find yourself stuck here, however, you might want to try the black bean soup. One of the diners ordered it and it looked fairly decent though I doubt it was even worth the $5 price.
