So this year for Thanksgiving, we just happened to have one of those giant, bulk-sized cans of corn. We plan on using it since we'll have guests and we'll never eat all that corn by ourselves. Help me come up with some ideas on how to use it besides dumping it in a pot with butter, salt, and pepper and heating it up.
We were and thinking maybe some corn nuggets or a corn casserole(if we can find a good recipe). We prefer non-spicy ideas (a lot of what I've found online are Tex-Mex ideas with jalapenos, and we have older folks and kids who can't handle the heat); I'd also like ideas that don't use expensive ingredients.
For reference, the other items on the menu (so far) are chicken and dressing, turkey, collards, field peas, corn bread, and various desserts.
