I managed to almost make Tawa Kawap ( Nang Bao Rou) out of refrigerator leftovers:
half a can of Pot Pie Soup
most of a prepared box of Hamburger Helper Lasagna
poured over a grilled whole wheat 14" pita
plus half an onion, sliced thin
What I know it needed:
a can of mixed vegetables, heavy on the potato
"something" in the spice family.
SO!!! If I were to do a more legitimate version, using good ole US grocery store products/ fresh produce-- what should I do??
