Had dinner here for the first time this past weekend and throughly enjoyed it. The service was fantastic, the food was cooked wonderfully, and the view of the park and Legislature was beautiful.
Portions were large - a smoked salmon salad was more than large enough for sharing and actually included a large portion of flaked smoked salmon which was a nice surprise. This would make a good entree if you wanted something lighter.
For entrees we had a bison rib eye special (cranberry pine nut reduction and stilton mashed potatoes instead of the regular menu item) and the stuffed chicken breast. Both were great but the bison was a bit more flavourful in comparison.
Honey and lemon creme brulee to finish - nice and creamy with a light taste, and the top was crunchy without being burnt to a crisp.
I would definitely go back again.
