Cooking in One Room

SeattleHusky | Jun 7, 2010 01:20 PM

Hi everyone, I am currently living in a fraternity and I cook in the room I live in, I have basic utensils, a few knifes, a mandolin, a toaster oven and an electric skillet. I love to cook, and at the same time I watch my calories, ha. Anyways, I have been pretty inventive with my cooking and I have made such things as slow cooked pork in my toaster oven, soups, and a souffle in my toaster oven. I was wondering if anyone has done similar inventive things and have any tips or ideas that I can use. Also, I am very interested at slow cooking and braising at the moment, so if anyone has any tips, please let me know. Thank you.
