Coney / Brighton/ S. Brooklyn for post Nathan's hot dog contest eating

I'm soliciting CH suggestions for some place fun and new (to me) in the South part of Brooklyn for after the Nathan's Famous hot dog eating on Monday. The trip down and ensuing gluttony have become 4th of July tradition close to a patriotic duty, right up there with the beer and fireworks. Obviously, not every place will be open the 4th, so we'll have to check for that, but I appreciate any opinions.

Some places we've tried and enjoyed already (in addition to Nathan's itself, obviously) include: Totonno's, Brennan and Carr, Tatiana's boardwalk seating, Gambrinus, Cafe Kashkar, Pirosmani and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Some thoughts for this trip include: Spumoni Gardens, Cafe Glechik, Roll n' Roaster, 1001 Nights (I like how over the top it looks), or perhaps even some Sichuan in Bensonhurst if the Chinese ringers they brought in for the contest this year pull off an upset and win the mustard yellow belt.

Thanks in advance!
