Fans of Circa-NY in Manhattan will be happy to learn
that it has just opened in Brooklyn, on Ave J and
about E15. The building used to be a bank, and the
conversion was very well done - it's one of the
prettier kosher restaurants I've seen.
They've divided it up - downstairs is a cafeteria-
style busy area, like the Circa-NY in Manhattan, and
upstairs is a formal restaurant.
The food is great too. I had a very nice lentil soup
and blackened red snapper, while my companions enjoyed
fusili with sundried tomatoes, pizza, salads, and
sauteed spinach, all of which were excellent.
