Cincinnati Serious Chowhound Alert Tuckers on Vine

I just had the most amazing meal of my 2000 plus mile roadtrip that started in Austin Texas almost 3 weeks ago. Tuckers,a 60 year old diner in Over The Rhine, downtown Cincinnati really knows how to put out a spread. Breakfast being served any time is always impossible for me to resist. I went for the Two Fried Eggs over medium, biscuits,
homemade gravy and a small pile of homegrown cherry tomatoes, two sausage patties rounded out the plate nicely. Everything was perfect...literally...the eggs could not have been prepared better, the tomatoes sweet and acidic balanced out the creaminess of the gravy, the biscuits were waaaay above average and sauced up with a wonderous cream gravy, coffee was strong and plentiful. My waitress,Caroline was a gem,a punk rock pixie, attentive but not overly so and came with the esp that all good servers have.If you're looking for a real chowhound experience this little unassuming joint is tough to beat.
