I was at Richmond Centre this week and popped into an East Indian food spot tucked away in a corner far away from the food court.
Chutneze looked very nice, had fresh food, the menu is rotated daily, and the owner/manager was very friendly and knowledegable. I had the 3-item-plus-rice combo for $6.99, choosing Chili Chicken, Beef Meatball Curry, and Saag Paneer - plus a fresh, moist Naan bread and a bottle of imported-from-india Thums Up Cola (sic).
Their samosas looked very good, blistered skin without any hint of grease for $1.75 - in chicken or beef. I didn't try it though because I was too stuffed from the combo meal.
Anyways, it's a nice place to have a bite if you're stuck in the mall.
