About 6 months ago I, in a fit of foolishness, bought a bunch of chunks of prosciutto ends. They sat in the fridge for a week and then I froze them. Being end pieces, there's a good deal of tough rind.
Today I'm cleaning out my freezer. This consists mainly of looking at plastic bags full of who knows what and trying to identify them. At one time I valued these whatevertheyares enough to package them and put them in the freezer.
So now I have these prosciutto chunks and am asking you guys to suggest a use for them. The only thing I could think of was to use them in a bean soup.
