I've seen others lament on similar topics lately... but not with ham. Being the genius I am, I bought a ham last night, and left it on the counter. Realized this morning (about 11 hours later). Put it in the fridge, but I fear it's a lost cause.
the ham is one a normal, fully cooked ham you buy at the grocery store, packed in cryovac or whatever the original sealed packaging is... If this were turkey or raw and uncured meat, I wouldn't even ask... but since this is cured ham and it was never taken out of the packaging... what do you think?
frankly, if I have to throw it out, I think we are going to have to go without a christmas ham this year. Can I save Christmas dinner?!
