A week or so ago someone recommended Ulysses Greek restaurant in The Grove. Last night we were at The grove w/my in-laws from New York & our 5 mo. old baby. When we suggested a late (9:30pm) dinner there, my husband turned to me & asked if I knew anything about it. I replied "no, but it got a good review on "Chowhound". He said "Good enough for me!".
Dinner was great: Appetisers were: Harumi; a baked goats cheese & tatzeki, both served w/ warm pita bread. Entrees were Octapodi;marinated grilled octopus served with delicious lemoney rice, Prawns w/ an ouzo based sauce & mashed potatoes, spanikopita & Greek salad. All very fresh.
Service was very friendly & quick (we were tired, having also been to Santa Barbara earlier in the day). We sat inside (patio was crowded & we had the baby in the stroller) , but it was airconditioned. Anyway , long story short; a big thankyou to fellow chowhounds & just to let you know we do take your advice!
