Haven't been around much this year. so here is my sole submission
Bistro Camino, Danforth west of Dawes, free parking in stree east of Canadian Tire.on south side. O/O Chef Hiro-san, ex Upper Canada Law Society (Osgoode hall), ex York Club. Trained as a French chef. Only reason he is in this location is that he owns the building- he opened in preparation of the recession.
Delicious and cheap lunches,$8.00 to $11.00 soup and plate. Fish particulalrly recommended. Dinner equally good and very reasonable, but I don't like the brown sauce meat dishes. Try something other than, say rack of lamb, that is to say try something other than something expensive at a price this low .For desserts try the icecream with basalmic sauce, tempura icecream, trifle, bon-bon assortment, all very good.
Cheesecake a bore.
Have a very good, nice meal without taking out a second mortgage, and without wearing a helmet to deflect áttittude".
