Last Friday Lucky Dragon had a article in the Conta Costa version of the San Francisco Chronicle. But I already booked Lucky Dragon for a set price Cantonese dinner for tables of ten before the article was printed. This event will be on Saturday, Aug 23, 2003 at 6:00PM. Arrangement for this meal was made before the article in the San Francisco Chronicle was printed. Attached is the Menu for your review. If you are interested then make a reservation at firstname.lastname@example.org. I think with two chefs working in the kitchen on the weekends we can take up to thirty Chowhounds, more if there is enough interest among the hounds. The cost will be $37.00 per person which includes a five dollar donation to Chowhound. Since it is a set menu for ten people we will need to confirm reservation as we fill a table. Since this is a set menu for a table of ten we will confirm your reservation as we fill a table otherwise you will be notified that we have your request and will confirm that you are in as soon as your table fills.. Payment needs to made in advance so that we can cover the cost of the food in the case of no shows.
Shrimp cooked two ways (heads salt and pepper and bodies quickly boiled)
Fish cooked two ways (chef choice, this will two dishes)
Peking Duck (cooked two ways, the skin will be served first then the meat will be minced and served with lettuce cups)
Free Range Chicken Salad
Sweet and Sour Pork
Oxtail Clay Pot (this is a real winner)
Fresh Vegetable Chef Choice (if A choy is available we will have it)
Yee Fu Noodle
This is a really interesting place located in East Bay, which serves food like what you would get in San Francisco Chinatown (a better setting at prices that are not much higher with free parking).
This is a private, volunteer assisted event. No agency relationship, express or implied exists between any parties and Chowhound, Inc. This is not a Chowhound, Inc. sponsored event.
