Howsabout tasty-as-heck Chinese Vegetarian (even devout carnivores have been known to return to this Clement Street find).
Meet some hounds at Bok Choy Garden this Thursday at 7 PM.
I've been dozens of times and enjoyed intensely flavored Black Pepper Meatballs (my fave), Vegie Duck, Stuffed Mushrooms - always ordering from a list of their dozen or so specials on the wall, though their main menu is extensive.
The vegetables are al dente, the sauces rich and the variety of tastes and textures generous. With brown rice, the nutrition profile is impressive.
Bring a twenty and you'll go home full, with change in your pocket.
I imagine owners John and Mary will have zero problem if we bring our own wine. I'll confirm.
