A group of 'hounds have been discussing lunch at Oriental Pearl for some time. We are possibly looking at Sunday, July 18th, at around 3:00 p.m.

Oriental Pearl is inexpensive. I can't imagine the bill being more than $15-20 for a feast. They do not have liquor license but do not mind if you show up with beer. They will also bring you a Styrofoam cup.

Note that Oriental Pearl is Sichuan cuisine. Many of the best dishes are spicy and feature fish, pork, or beef. The dishes have more "mouth buzz" from Sichuan peppers than "god awful burn" from chili peppers. I have yet to find a vegetable dish that I order from anything but duty.
