JUST GOT BACK FROM N.O. YESTERDAY. AS USUAL SID-MAR'S OF BUCKTOWN WAS REALLY GOOD. HAD CRAWFISH,THEY ARE SMALL THIS YEAR. SOFTSHELL CRAB, UMM GOOD. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THEY DON'T HAVE GOOD BEER. ABITA DOES NOT CUT IT. ALSO WENT TO UGLESICHS ON BARONNE FOR LUNCH. GOOD SOFTSHELLS + POTATO SALAD, AND THEY HAVE GREAT BEER. CHIMAY GOLD, SIERRA NEVADA PALE AND SOME DECENT WINES. LUNCH ONLY THOUGH. EMERILS, BIG DEAL. A WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING. I CAN GET THAT BS COOKING ANYWHERE IN THE USA THESE DAYS. EXPENSE ACCOUNT CITY IS WHAT IT IS. HARBOR SEAFOOD ON WILLIAMS IN KENNER NEXT TO THE AIRPORT IS GOOD IF YOU'RE ARRIVING LATE OR NEED LUNCH OR DINNER BEFORE YOU FLY. NOT WORTH COMING OUT FROM NO FOR,(A SPECIAL TRIP) BUT BETTER THAN MOST OF THE TOURIST JOINTS DOWNTOWN.
