I'm not a big fan of automatically commenting on here on J Gold's most recent reviews (though they are good, if a bit Asian-heavy), but reading his today made me wonder: does anyone know where I can get a good chocolate almond croissant? He gave some good suggestions for almond ones, but when I lived in Paris I felt that choco almond ones were the peak of croissant perfection. They have almond paste inside and some sliced toasted ones on top, but also some good dark chocolate inside as well. In addition, they seem to be darker in wheat origin? or just baked longer? and with a light confectionary sugar dusting on top.
I've found these to be harder to locate Stateside. I'm hoping somewhere has it, and not Anisette since part of the fun of a croissant is eating it as you walk. And not paying too too much for it. Thanks!
