There's a new Indian-Chinese fusion restaurant called Chinese Mirchi in Curry Hill, 28th and Lex. This category was pioneered by the Chinese community in Bombay. It's Indian vegetables and dishes cooked with Chinese spices and cooking methods.
I had dinner there recently and enjoyed it. I've never had it in Bombay, so can't comment on its authenticity, but the Bombayites there were homesick and in heaven. Good dessert, try the date pancakes (misleading, it's more like crisps stuffed with date filling, drizzled with chocolate sauce).
The place is a bit too harshly lit, and its decoration is clean and spare, though it's got nice Chinese-style chairs. Go mainly for the food.
