Chima Review (Tysons)

I just went to Chima tonight for my parents anniversary. We have been to Fogo de Chaos a few times (we are big meat eaters) and loved everything about it, so we had to try Chima which is a lot closer.

We got seated in the back room which I was not a fan of. It was really quiet and the meat came around a lot less. The did have more choices at the salad bar than expected- rice, beans, and an awesome chicken soup. My favorites were the filet mignon, lamb chops, and the swordfish (although the sauce it was was too sweet for my taste- they also had salmon which was a bit overcooked but it was nice to have something in there besides beef). The service was pretty good, and they gave us a tiramasu on the house for my parents' anniversary. Do not get the apple streudal...it was just phyllo with roasted apples and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Overall decent. For the three of us the tab was around 200, (without alcohol, and gratuity is already included*). Our waitress was very nice. The atmosphere was also great. But don't sit in the back room. We wanted the food to come out a lot more than it did. I did not get to try the sausages or the chicken but it looked good. The flank steak was a bit too chewy for my taste. But we were very satisfied with the salad bar and everything else.

Oh and they have free valet- a huge plus.
