I recently had an incredible chickpea and pistachio pate at a restaurant in Penticton, British Columbia. Aside from the two mentioned ingredients, the server told us that it contained black olive juice and cumin. Does this recipe sound familiar to anyone? I thought I'd check here first to see if this is a known recipe, or whether I should try to coax it out of the chef if I can. It was incredibly rich, delish, and memorable. I would love to make it and have it in my fridge, rather than having to order it, slice by slice, from the restaurant. Thx.
