Here's a chance to voice your opinion on what bar/pub/restaurant has the best wings in Toronto.
For "buffalo" I vote for Duff's and find them the same as their location in Amherst N.Y. and better than the Anchor in Buffalo.
My personal favourite used to be from a place in Scarborough called Darby O'Gills. The wings they served there were truely JUMBO and were simply amazing. All varieties offered were great. I loved the BBQ wings...they melted in your mouth, but my person fav. were the cajun wings. They came served with a "blackened", flavourful, spicey sauce. Most places that offer this variety I find just simply shake cajun seasoning on the wings.
The item that put Darby O'Gills wings over the edge was the option to have them "touched" (I can't remember what they called it) on the grill before being served. This would put the grill marks on the wings and seemed to make them taste better, no matter what sauce you ordered.
Unfortunately the last time I visited Darby O'Gills they renovated the place, and changed the cook. The wings were good, but no where close to what they used to be...So, I am in search of other establishments (hole in the wall) that offer wings that people would kill for.
