Hi---I know this site is devoted mainly to restaurants but I'd like to run this question by the group, devoted foodies that you are.
I've been looking for two recipes that I've not had any success in finding, not even on other recipes/food-oriented sites.
I'm seeking a recipe for chicken financier, a chicken and truffle dish popular in Belle Epoque Paris. I'd also like to know how to make gondolas, a boat-shaped pasta, stuffed with cheese(?)in a cream sauce that I enjoyed over a decade ago in a lovely restaurant in Union, New Jersey called Benito's. Might there also be any restaurants in NYC that serve these dishes? Thanks for any info.
