At long last, I know why everyone raves about Chick Fil A. I've been against ever going there because a) I almost never eat fast food and b) I'm an agnostic. But hey, I eat at In & Out burger when I'm by one, and I was out running around and had no other good options this weekend, so I went.
Wow, delicious sandwich, place is really clean, very salty fries but nice place. Play room for kids, paper hats, etc. I thought, could I have been wrong about this place all these years?
20 mins later I noticed my heart pounding and flushed face, went on for almost 2 hours. I finally put 2 and 2 together after trying to figure out what was wrong with me. I really don't consider myself hyper-sensitive to MSG but that's probably because I largely avoid it, and when it did used to bother me more often, I ate a lot more processed foods. But this was unmistakable. And I read online it's the 2nd seasoning ingredient in the sandwich, after salt. AWFUL. And with hydrogenated oil in the bun, definitely no reason to go back here ever again. No different than any other fast food place if you ask me.
