Chicago Hotdogs/Italian Beefs in Huntington Beach

Took a detour off the jammed 405 onto Beach Blvd on way to Newport Beach. On south side of street saw a place that advertised Chicago Hotdogs and Italian Beefs. Had to stop and try. They hit a homerun on the hotdogs. They use the Vienna natural casing (6 to a #) with the poppy seed buns!! The italian beef not as good. Uses Vienna beef, but tasted too processed. But similar to many other Chicago places with all the trimmings (peppers etc) (No competition for Mr. Beef or Al's). Owner says he has the authentic bread for the sandwiches. He also carries sabrette hotdogs for the NYers. However, since sabrette change their process of making hotdogs no matvch for Viennas. (they suck now. They become soggy in water! Not like when I was kid growing up in NYC.) Name of place is "East Coast Hot Dogs" located at 19092 Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach (714) 378-0364.
