Two former Disney chef's and one of their wives (one from Victoria and Alberts, the other from The California Grill) have opened a fine dining ( Florida casual attire) restaurant in Winter Garden. Being called "The Chef's Table Restaurant at the Historic Edgewater Hotel.
The restaurant doesn't have much street exposure (it is located in the rear where Sarin used to be).
They charge a fixed price $46.99 for a three course meal. No Ala Carte menu. Open seven days a week from 5 - 9:30. They also recommend reservations 407-656-2633 It is a small restaurant with 9 tables.
Menu apps (Foie Gras Creme Brulee, Seared Sesame Crusted Tuna on Asian Black Bean Slaw, Wild Mushroom and Gruyere Cheese Torte) Entrees (Ribeye with Sauce Bearneaise, on Potatoe Gratin, Pan Seared Duck Breast with Red Wine Risotto and Balsalmic Reduction, Shimp and Scallop Mixed Grill with Golden Split Pea Ragout, Pork Loin with Creamy Polenta) Dessets (Chocolate Souffle with Peanut Butter Creame Anglaise, Berries Saute, Grand Marnier Sauce on Sponge Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream, Banana Walnut Bread Pudding with Banana Foster Sauce.
They also have a varied wine list with about 50 selections (10 by the glass).
They have been open less than a week and the food is already top notch. As of now they don't have much for Vegetarians on the menu, but I am sure the chefs will be able to create something on demand.
