Jennifer Cox is soon to leave the restaurant of CC. her food is delightful and refreshing on the sf scene. she does an amazing job with salads and vegetarian entrees, as well as meat and fish dishes that do not leave you feeling heavy.
I have a not so secret love affair with the Cuban pork sandwich & jicama salad. it is often the best thing that can happen to me in a day.
I worked here before she became the chef and so was able to watch the trajectory of her menus as well as create finishes for her meals.
This is a biased opinion because I appreciate the way she handles food, works with her staff, collaborates with her colleagues. I wanted to write something here because her food is worth having and I believe she departs at the end of the month.
