cheaper (and better) alternatives to otto??

erika | Apr 7, 2006 03:44 PM

hey i had already asked about celeste (decided against it), so now my friend that lives in the city suggested otto cuz it's one her fave places to eat. granted, ive been wanting to try it since it's been open, but i feel like it's probably overhyped (and too expensive for what it is, altho i hear the wine list is great). also, ill be catching up w/ some old high school friends (some of whom i havent seen in 10 years!), so i would not like to feel rushed. can anyone recommend a place w/ similar food offerings that's roughly in the same area? ive been to grano before and really enjoyed it, but i'd like to try a different place...excellent thin crust pizzas and decent priced wines are a definite +! thanks so much
