Cheap dim sum during off hours in Sunnyvale

We may have a great sign of thing s to come for dim sum lovers in the South Bay. In Oakland recently there has been lucky to eat cheap during dim sum pricing war between Joy Luck and Yo Ho, were we have prices less than buck seventy five for large, medium and small dishes of dim sum. This special starts today. I just missed by going yesterday.

Well Bamboo Garden may have fired the first shot of a possible dim sum price in the South Bay (Sunnyvale). During off hours 10 to 11:30 and 1 to 3 they will be serving the three sizes of dim sum for a 1.99 each. During the normal lunch hour for the business lunch time the prices will remain the same. I was told by the new Manager (actually he was there before but has returned recently) he plans to keep this deal for a long time.

Bamboo Garden has decent dim sum and at these prices it truly a great deal. With the decline of Joy Luck in Cupertino and the changing of dim sum chefs in the South Bay these prices may be a good place to try out.

There have been a lot of new dim sum teahouses that have opened in the same general area and this may start a dim sum price war. I can only hope for a dim sum price war now. Now I do not have to drive so far to get cheap eats lucky us in the South Bay.
