Charrier's in Skowhegan, Me

This is a family run restaurant on the main drag, i.e. Madison Ave. (Route 201). Had a very nice lobster roll there a few evenings ago. Traditional hot dog bun lined with lettuce but just packed with lobster (mostly claw) meat. Just a little mayo added. My only complaint was that it lacked salt (probably the lobster was boiled in under salted water) but that was easily remedied. I had ordered it because I wasn't very hungry but it turned out to be a BIG lobster roll.
$7.95!! I don't know if this was a fluke, and I plan to try again. They also have Chicken Divan and Chicken Coron Bleu, two items you don't see much any more.
Can't vouch for those though.

If you're coming to Maine to raft the Kennebec River, which is a wonderful and hair-raising experience, you'll come through town on 201. If you're hungry stop off at Charrier's for a bite to eat! pat
