A Challenge: 24 Hours in Seattle

This is somewhat in response to the lively "Let's Fight" thread, but thought I'd start a new thread.

I haven't been to Seattle in a few years, and I'm coming for just one day in a couple of weeks. So, all you Seattle posters and lurkers, if you could just have one lunch and one dinner, where would you go? It'll be midweek. I'm equally interested in dives and holes-in-the-wall as the latest hyped opening. I have had great meals in a couple of Tom Douglas's restaurants in the past, as well as at Wild Ginger. But as an east-coaster, I don't tend to hear about your lesser-known places, so I'm counting on you. That's what's great about chowhound, right?

I've noted chef Eric's mentions of Harvest Vine, Salumi, etc., and skimmed the boards for more, but haven't found too many general recommendations or finds.

So here's the challenge: lay 'em on me and I'll report back! Thanks, everyone!
