They have added chalkboard specials and moved staging areas around in the 'kitchen/cook space' since I was at Camaronera last month. There were nine new items today including ceviche, chile spiced mixed seafood, sauteed scallops and shrimp in a 'ajillo' brandy sauce. There is one guy manning the new ceviche station by the window and the saute pans where the soups used to be. The other fry stations and soups are still there, just rearranged and moved down a bit. All the old favorites are still there including the ever popular 'pan con minuta' for the bargain price of $4. Now one of the specials has it (whole butterflied fried yellowtail sandwich for the uninitiated) with pineapple coleslaw for $6. Nice additions for those who want to try something new or 'not fried'. The corvina ceviche was a large serving and quite good, especially with the addition of their green hot sauce, for $8. Fish is always super-fresh and high turnover.
