Had dinner at Central last night and have to say the meal we had was excellent. I had a thick Veal chop that was grill to perfection. The wine selection is phenomenal! The waiter offered us a wine listing as thick as an edition of War and Peace. Atmosphere at the restaurant was inviting, not loud and comfortable. The booths along one side of the restaurant need to be redesigned. Just a little reminiscent of a pizza parlor. On a downside, even though the atmosphere and food were great, the service was BAD! Our waiter brought us our drinks, appetizers and that was the last time we saw him until we were finished with our entrees. He walked by at least 5-6 time with no offer to refill our wine glasses or to ask about our meal. Sad to say the bartender had to refill our drinks and bring us our entrees. This just seemed limited to our waiter. The other waitress/waiters seemed to handle the few tables with ease. Overall the dining experience was good. Thanks to an attentive bartender!
