Celebration Dinner near Long Beach for 6 Foodies with a 2 y/o

My family wants to take me out to dinner this weekend near where we grew up in Lido Beach. As a result, we have been to most of the old stand-bys. Dad doesnt eat red meat, so that rules out Ted Milan's and Jimmy Hays. Oh, and did I mention I ahve a 2 year old neice who we are bringing with us, so that kinda rules out romantic and ultra fancy places, and means wherever we are going, we will be dining at 5:30pm.

Despite this, we are all what we consider foodies, and therefore are looking for something new and interesting, within about a half-hour drive. I was thinking La Festa (the old Jake's and the even older Lawson Pub) in Oceanside on Lawson Blvd, or maybe Tupelo Honey in Sea Cliff, but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
