Just had a chance to eat at Cavaillon again for the first time in a few months and it was great again. They have a tasting menu on Monday nights for 32 dollars that is 3 courses that includes dessert as well. I had the Scallop Risotto with Shitaake Mushrooms and the Salad with Bacon and these little chickpea polenta cakes. They put them in the salad with a fried egg. It was amazing the different temperatures and flavors with the salad.
They also offered a cheese for dessert instead of sweet. I'm not always interested in sweet for the final part of my meal so the cheese was great. It was a Spanish Manchego and came with some bread and a raspberry compote.
The place was not very full but the chef came out to say Hello and asked how everything was. The service was not intrusive and complemented the meal. The coffee was kinda small was my only gripe, but for the price I can't complain too much.
I would recommend them for sure.
