With the death of the old Tunnicliff's on Capitol Hill, I am without my beloved catfish po'boy.
I am looking for a worthy replacement--cornmeal-breaded and fried, chopped leaf lettuce with hearts intact for crispness, mayonnaisy spicy sauce (not tartar sauce), and the bread--soft in the middle and slightly toasted around the edges.
How could the new owners tinker with perfection? (Went there recently on a mission and was disappointed. Mightily. There IS no catfish po'boy any more.)
