I've got a very special event coming up for around 60-80 people and I have a catering conundrum:
I'd love to have some delicious, kitschy, gourmet foods - sort of like belgium french fries, sliders and gourmet hot dogs....gourmet "nuggets" ....is it best to hire a caterer, or actually find one of those food truck dudes to do something like this?
As much as I'd like quality, I also don't want to sell my first child to pay for this either. I want to pay something fair...I just have no idea what "fair" is!
I've never thrown an event like this and I would appreciate any insider tips on how to negotiate this world, and if you guys think I should just find a restaurant to do this...an individual "private" caterer to do this...or a food truck.
