Casual restaurants to host a party for ~100 people?

We are planning a fortieth wedding anniversary party for my parents, who eloped and have always talked about having a big party to celebrate one of their anniversaries. The party will be in the Bay Area next summer, and we expect to have about 100 people coming from all over the country.

Most of the event rental spaces we've looked at are aimed at weddings and thus are way out of our price range. We'd ideally like to have the party at a restaurant with honest-to-goodness good food, and our parents are more the Chowhound types than the rubber-chicken-banquet menu types. Because we have so many people, we'd be happy to rent out a whole restaurant, either for lunch or dinner.

Any suggestions for a good, offbeat, place? We are open to any cuisine-- Asian, Latin American, pizza, you name it. The only requirements are 1. good food!, 2. big enough space to hold that many people, 3. no more than $25/person, preferably less, and 4. somewhere in San Francisco, Marin, or Alameda counties.

Any suggestions, oh wise Chowhounds?
