already posted this on the manhattan board, but i figure outer borough folk have a better idea of casual.
i'm inviting a group of friends to meet up on a friday evening. the idea is to pick a time and place where we can get dinner and then stick around for drinks, maybe relocating to somewhere in the area at a later point.
i'm inviting a little more than 20 people. my guess is that no more than 10 will show up for dinner. more people will probably show up for drinks, but probably not all at the same time. the main thing is that with this amount of people, i need somewhere pretty casual where people can drop in and out, where there is enough room, and where the food is good. somewhere in williamsburg would be the most convenient for most of the people who would be coming (although i'm open to ev or les).
my ideas: mable's smokehouse, the commodore, hill country, or maybe radegast (although i've heard the food is bad?).
are these places any good/big enough?
