I'll be visiting New Castle for a week, with two children in tow, ages 4 and 13.
I want good food. Please. (After being stuck in a Disney World complex, I fear food away from home. :) They are both well behaved in all types of restaurants.
Any and all variety are fine, although I'm sure they'd prefer a family place now and then. We will have a car to travel and I assume Portsmouth would be the most convenient (or is there food in New Castle? I have yet to research this trip), but I'd travel further if it's worth it.
We'll need breakfast, brunch, quick (on the go, most likely) lunches and dinners. Some relaxing dinners would be nice too.
I'm a NY'er, who is quite accustom to paying top dollar for food. So any price up there I'm sure will be fine and a welcome change.
Since I'm also a sheltered NY'er, please advise on dress attire. What should I pack. Is casual dress okay in the area's nicer restaurants? Or do I need to pack the kid's best?
