My husband and I had our first date at Casa Mexico in Harvard Square. Since we are scheduled to go to the hospital for the (scheduled c-section) birth of our second child tomorrow, we decided to go there for dinner.
We found one of those sad "thanks for your loyal patronage" letters noting the restaurant's 37 years in business. It was dark and closed up tight.
A brief browse of these boards doesn't reveal a high opinion of Casa Mexico, but I personally will miss it.
We ended up going across the street to Upstairs at the Pudding, which undoubtedly has better food, but I was still sad.
