I am afraid that I am soon going to be known as the "boy who cried wolf" but I talked to one of the principals today and he said they are opening tomorrow at 11:30 A.M., and that their food is going to be "central Mexican" cuisine and that their chef is from France and has been training/working at a high end restaurant in Mexico City before this, (I think it was MC?). He also said that they are going to be a "serious" restaurant for wine lovers with a very substantial wine list.
Now just in case you are wondering, I have no interest in this place, other than it looks really interesting architectually inside and out.
Again, for those who haven't read my two previous posts, it is in the old Bicycle Shop space on Wilshire Blvd. in West LA just 2 blocks west of Bundy on the north side of the street.
With all of this pre-opening information I guess I had better give it a try when it finally does open and post my impressions.
