Carolina "Q" Dog at the Durham Bulls ballgame

came across a decadent treat at the ballpark yesterday -- its at the 'Dillard's BBQ' foodstand, i think just barely on the third base side of the concourse. There's a little sign hanging down from the main menu sign that says "Carolina Q Dog" -- a footlong Hebrew National Frank, topped with pork BBQ and slaw. they also have their vinegar base sauce (which looks like its got a bit of mustard in it) to squirt on top...i also threw some regular ol' fluorescent yellow mustard on there as well for good measure. And while the Q is obviously not the greatest quality carolina Q in the world (perhaps a bit too chopped and wet- even without the extra sauce i threw on top out of pure excitement), its hard to beat a hebrew national dog (especially at a ballpark) and this was a pretty fun and damn tasty snack. albeit for $6.25, but what the hell, right? took me awhile to find something exciting to splurge on...
