Carciofi Fritti at Palma on Cornelia Street

I had lunch at this West Village place yesterday, right across the street from Po. Lovely little restaurant. They serve carciofi fritti (deep-fried artichoke) topped with parmesian cheese as a bar nibble, and that alone is worth a visit. I also had mozzarella buffola, with tomatos and basil, which was pretty good, too.
