I remember as a child, Laura Scudders made a caramel peanut butter. It was one of my favorite things to eat on toast with bananas.
A few years ago at an Amish restaurant near Akron, OH I purchased a similar product that was packaged in a honey bear-type squeeze bottle. It was a refrigerated product so bringing it back to CA posed logistical difficulties. I thought Peanut Butter & Co in NYC would have a similar product, but the white chocolate peanut butter didn't fit the bill for me - although it is delicious.
Does anyone know of a source or a recipe to replicate that long lost flavor of my youth?
