Cape Cod Restaurants -- nicer and family

I'm looking for restaurants for our week on the Cape in August. We're staying in Brewster. Great food is a must. Last year, we over-dosed on fried food, so anything beyond that would be very welcome. We're particularly looking for:

1) Kid-friendly places. My 7-year old, however, is pretty good at sitting at a nicer restaurant (i.e., yes to Brewster Fish House, no to Chillingsworth) and eats different types of food.
2) Nicer restaurants for our nights out alone. Prefer NOT too stuffy since we're used to great food in casual settings in NYC.
3) Any other great foodie ideas -- food/farm markets, ice cream (we love Sundae School, but are always looking for new places), butchers/fish places.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Debra
